Pain Relief Management in the New Year!

Happy New Year to all who may read this blog post! I wish the best for this 2015 year which is suddenly upon us. Many people and cultures have traditions on how to end an old year and bring in the New Year. Some go through rituals, others superstitions and yet others rely on Astrology.

Yet I know we would all agree that the most important thing that you can wish a person is GOOD HEALTH! After all, what good is prosperity if you live in constant chronic pain. It kind of dampens the outlook for a happy, peaceful New Year when you feel this way. I know since I speak from experience living with arthritis and flat feet which causes me to work other muscles of my legs I shouldn't have too resulting in achy feet, legs, aching knees and back pain. I also take care of my 80 years young mother who has multiple chronic conditions too long to list here.

Therefore, it is a necessity for people who live with chronic pain to look for pain relief management in a variety of manners from supplements to therapeutic treatments to help manage their pain. I urge people who read this blog to sign up for ENJOY LIVING AGAIN NEWSLETTER. This is a monthly newsletter which offers you practical tips on pain management as well as a FREE E-BOOK on "20 Secrets to Reducing Arthritic Pain." Of course Real Time Pain Relief, who creates this monthly newsletter, has their own organic ingredient based therapy products which have worked well for my mother and I. I highly recommend trying their products.

So, you can choose to start out another New Year living with your chronic pain and taking harmful over the counter (OTC) drugs or you can choose to start enjoying life again with helpful tips to gain control of your pain in a more natural, organic manner with less reliance on OTC pain killers.

Real Time Pain Relief

Are you tired of being in constant pain due to Arthritis, Bursitis,, joint pain, back pain or muscle strains, sprains or related pain issues? The general solution probably is to go to the doctor which will give you a pain reducing medication. Or, you might just take an OTC drug for simple pains. The problem is many pain tablets, caplets or capsules can not be taken for a long duration and many have secondary or side effects which can cause other health issues.

Real change starts with people taking responsibility for your own health. Keep your own medical records, check which medications may potentially interact with each other and inform yourself. It's your body and you have a right to know what's going in it. Making yourself feel better with a pill is not a healthy indication and may suggest that you are addicted to pain killers. Ask your doctor for a natural alternative to a medication. The fourth leading cause of death behind Heart Disease, Cancer and Strokes is adverse effects from medication. It sad but true as we have all witnessed through the course of this pain killer generation, that people and famous celebrities have died from an adverse reaction or addiction to their medication.

The above product line, Real Time Pain Relief  takes that alternative approach to pain alleviation by using only natural ingredients with no harmful side effects.  There is traditional medicine, hot and cold therapy and then their is Ingredient-Based Therapy which is what Real Time pain Relief uses. Real Time Pain Relief products have been specifically formulated to be absorbed through all seven layers of the skin carrying over 19 natural ingredients to the site of the pain. Ingredients such as Emu Oil, Whole Leaf Aloe Vera Concentrate, Glucosamine and Chondroiton, Arnica Montana, MSM, and many more anti-inflammatory and pain reducing ingredients. All essentially do four things:

  1. Helps relieve pain
  2. Helps reduce inflammation
  3. Helps your body revitalize tissue, muscle and joints naturally
  4. Helps restore your body's natural pain threshold.
Stop pain! Get back to enjoying life again with America's "Best Smelling, Most Effective Rub-On Pain Relief Product"! Oh by the way, Real Time Pain Relief is FDA Registered and Monitored and has the GMP or Good Manufacturing Practice for Consistent Quality Seal of approval.

Time for Healing in 2012

The year 2012 has arrived and all of all start out with positive expectations. Some of us make the usual New Year's resolutions, others are just plain obstinate to change and feel that it is just another year. Well I'm here to tell you that this is not just another year. Personally, I was at home with my family and we all embraced each other with joy, happiness and then spontaneously joined hands for prayer. We praised God for blessing us with a New Year. We praised him and asked him to bless us and the world with health of body, mind and spirit. Pray this prayer with faith and believe!

Oh Lord, my body is full of pain and I have lost the joy of living but you are my God and I offer you this pain for your sorrowful passion. Take it in your merciful hands and transform it into a healing power of physical healing for all who suffer physically in this very moment. Lord I don't pretend to know your divine will of why some people heal and others don't but I do know that tonight you will touch the lives of many who have prayed for healing of the body. Lord touch my life tonight.

Lord my mind is troubled. I worry about my job, my financial responsibility to my family, the economic pressures of our times, the world's conflicts and wars. I worry about the ever growing crime rate and lack of compassion for our fellow man. I worry about how easily a stranger can take someones life without remorse. Even worse when family turns against each other. Lord I worry about the moral fiber of family values which has decayed and the lack of respect for mankind. Lord bring peace to our world. Let this be the year of enlightenment where we can finally see that we must change our lives to make this world a better place. Lord ease my troubled mind and bring me peace and tranquility. Lord touch my mind tonight.

Oh Lord my spirit aches to know if there is a higher purpose in my life. Am I on the right path that leads to life or am I on the path that leads to destruction? Am I doing your will Father or am I doing what I desire without your help? Do I feel self-sufficient or am I in need of your dependence? Oh, Lord help me reflect this year the path to choose. I need to know that I am not alone and that I can confide and depend on you. Give me the spiritual strength this year to believe, to battle the forces of evil in this world and to stand strong. Lord heal my spirit and guide my family, work and endeavours by putting it all in your hands first. I need to return to my first love which is you Jesus. Lord touch my spirit tonight.

I pray that all who have reflected with me in this prayer for healing receive in abundance their heart's desire in 2012. I truly believe that this is a critical life changing year for all of us. We need to decide what's most important to us. May God enlighten us all this year to realize our dreams and aspirations by first putting it all in his hands. Only then can we truly know that we are doing the correct thing. God bless all of us this coming year!

What Are Holistic Practitioners?

Today we are starting to become a little leery of our health care.  We are starting to think that 'progress' is overrated, or at least when it comes to ignoring centuries old practices that have been proven to work.  Using some of these old practices is what holistic practitioners do.

Professionals who don't just treat one aspect of the person but rather incorporate the whole person: mind, body, and spirit, are using the 'whole' or holistic approach to health care.  These practitioners use many non-invasive, drug free techniques to help keep their patients healthy and to help treat chronic problems. Unlike drug therapies, these holistic methods don't have the negative side effects associated with many prescription drugs.

Modern western medicine tends to look at the symptoms of an illness only after they've presented themselves there is little focus on prevention.  The whole person, mind, body, and spirit are largely ignored with the focus only on that one part that is sick.  Rarely do they look for the underlying cause but merely treat the symptoms.

If you look in the Holy Bible at the person of Jesus, What did he look at and what did he treat when he saw a sick person?  Let’s look at some stories. When Jesus healed the paralyzed man in (Mat. 9, 1) he didn’t say first, “Get up, pick up your bed and go home” first. He saw that the man needed spiritual healing first by forgiving his sins. Jesus healed the inner being first before healing the physical being.

In that same chapter (Mat. 9, 20-22) A certain woman had severe bleeding for twelve years  and she had a positive mind set saying,” If I only I touch his cloak I will get well.” When she touched his cloak, Jesus turned around and saw her and said, “Courage, my daughter! Your faith has made you well.” The story relates that at that very moment she became well. In this case, Jesus healed her body because the other two aspects were whole. She had a positive mind, and a strong spiritual faith.

Holistic medicine takes this approach.  They focus on the mind, body, and spirit and encourage practices that can prevent illness from happening in the first place.

A holistic professional can use various methods to help their patient achieve and maintain good health and well being.  Some of the most common methods used are: acupuncture, massage therapy, aromatherapy, meditation, and Chinese herbal medicine, to name just a few.

The holistic approach recognizes that the human body is designed to heal itself and sometimes just needs a little help.  Just changing some simple daily lifestyle choices and a positive mental outlook can have dramatic effects on the body and its ability to prevent and even cure many illnesses.

Many of these holistic approaches are starting to be recognized and endorsed by the once resistant 'traditional' medical community.  With the awareness that not all man-made medications are good for us and often create their own set of problems, a lot of doctors are starting to incorporate a more holistic approach in their practice.

Most states require some type of licensing for anyone who is treating people using these methods.  Most holistic professionals have as much, or nearly as much, schooling as a regular M.D.

If you don't believe that just 'popping a pill' every time you have a health issue is the best way to go, if you are concerned with the long term side effects of taking a lot of medications, or if you just think that prevention makes more sense than waiting until there is a problem and treating it after it occurs, you should find holistic practitioners in your area and learn how you can become more pro-active in regards to your health. Remember we are spiritual beings, with a rational mind enclosed within our bodies. We need to maintain a healthy balance of all these aspects to truly achieve our goal of a healthy body, mind and spirit.  Until next blog, I pray that each and every one who reads this can form a positive mental attitude to look for holistic practitioners who like Jesus, looks not only at the body but also other aspects of the human being. Stay blessed!

What Is Holistic Medicine

Today with so many people getting back to basics and going green,  you are starting to hear a lot about holistic medicine. But have you ever wondered what that means and what it can mean to the health and well being of you and your family?

The term holistic simply means to take a 'whole' approach. In medicine today your doctor tends to only focus on one small area of your health and only tries to relieve the symptoms, very often completely overlooking the cause.

For example, if you've been diagnosed with high blood pressure, your doctor will no doubt prescribe a blood pressure lowering prescription drug. More often than not this medicine will have moderate to severe side effects.

Since the medicine only treats the symptoms, and not the cause, you will have to continue to take it for an extended period of time. Sometimes taking a medication for a long period of time can make the side effects worse, which will often lead to the need to take medication to cure the side effects!

Holistic methods, on the other hand, will not just focus on your high blood pressure.
Instead it will look at all aspects of your lifestyle: nutrition, physical, emotional, spiritual, environmental, etc. It will try to solve the root cause of your problem instead of just help you deal with the symptoms.
The holistic approach doesn't rule out the use of prescription drugs but it does encourage trying natural methods first. Harsh drugs are only used as a last resort.

Those who practice holistic methods of health care, also encourage full participation and responsibility for their own health care by their patients. They don't condone a bad lifestyle by their patient and then just giving the patient a drug to help alleviate the symptoms of an ailment directly related to those poor lifestyle choices.

Usually a holistic practitioner will try to help their patients achieve more balance between their physical, emotional, environmental, and spiritual lives to promote better overall health. It's about integrating the mind and body and how they can become balanced for better overall health.

Many different approaches are grouped together under the holistic name, you've no doubt heard of many of them: acupuncture, yoga, massage, meditation, and aromatherapy are some of the most well known.

Many people use these methods even when they don't have an illness. The idea is to prevent illness and not just cure one. That is another aspect of holistic methods of treatment that sets it apart from 'mainstream' medicine which only worries about curing a problem and not nearly as much about prevention.

If you are concerned about the health and well being of you and your family you owe it to yourself to consider implementing holistic medicine practices into your life today. Don't wait until there is a problem, by starting now you may very well be able to prevent any illnesses from occurring in the first place.
